Sharon A. Homman, 82, of Columbus passed away on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at At Home Again Assisted Living in Rio.
Sharon was born on January 7, 1941 in Rio to Herman and Alma Homman. She was a graduate of Rio High School. Sharon was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Columbus. She enjoyed watching football especially the Badgers and Packers. Sharon loved the outdoors and in her earlier days she enjoyed deer hunting and ice fishing. She will be remembered for her cooking wild game feeds.
Sharon is survived by her son Paul (Janet) Homman of Columbus; grandson Jason (Rachel) Homman of Rio; great granddaughter Alyssa Homman of Fall River; sister Delores Hasenfuss of Fall River; step sister Darlene (Dennis) Lerum of Rio; sister-in-law Dorothy Homman; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; step father Orville Jacobson; brother Mervin Homman; sister Darlene (Gordon) Allen; brother-in-law Virgil Hasenfuss; and close friend Anita Engel.
A memorial gathering will be held at the Koepsell-Zeidler Funeral Home in Columbus on Friday, November 10, 2023 from 10 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 11 a.m. Rev. Tim Schwartz will officiate. Inurnment will take place at Hillside Cemetery in Columbus.
