Sharon Ann Lessard, 67, of Horicon, passed away surrounded by her loved ones on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at her home.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Sharon will take place on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Horicon with Rev. Fr. Mark Brandl presiding. A visitation for Sharon will be held at church on Saturday, January 10, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of mass at 11:00 a.m. Following the service, Interment will take place at St. Malachy Cemetery in Horicon.
Sharon was born the daughter of Jacob and Delorse (Feucht) Bunkoske on August 6, 1958. She graduated from Horicon High School in 1976.
Sharon was united in marriage to Mark Lessard on August 27, 1977. They shared 48 years of love and happiness. Sharon was a devote catholic and was a faithful member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Horicon; never missing a Saturday mass. She made rosaries for the troops and recently won an award for her generous donations to EWTN for 40 years. Sharon was a faithful supporter of St. Jude’s Children Hospital.
Sharon’s strong and steadfast faith was shown in the way she lived her life. She prayed about everything and trusted God.
Sharon loved to fish with her children and grandchildren any chance she could. She looked forward to pontoon rides and boating on rivers. Her greatest joys in life were being a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Sharon is survived by her husband Mark Lessard; her children: Charles (Bea) Lessard, Lisa (Randall) Muth, and Susan (significant other Mitchell Kuhn) Lessard; 6 grandchildren; 1 great-grandson; her siblings: Kieth (Pam) Bunkoske, Ken Bunkoske, Jacob (Teri) Bunkoske, Ron (Pat) Bunkoske, and Dawn (Mark) Giese. Sharon is further survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins she loved wholeheartedly.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents.
