Sharon Marie (Simpson) Andersen passed away peacefully on August 3, 2025 on the way to her new home in Eagle River, Wisconsin to be near her family. Up until the end Sharon maintained her kindness, appreciation of beauty and love of family and friends. Sharon’s life can best be encapsulated by four “F” words: Family, Friends, Food and Fun. In her almost 79 years here with us, she experienced an abundance of each.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert D. Andersen, her parents, Robert and Lorraine Simpson, her brother, James R. Simpson and her sister, Donna L. Tope.
She is survived by her children, Todd Andersen (Debra Rodriguez), Rob (Andrea) Andersen and Chris Andersen, 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren as well as her sisters, Mary Ann (Phil) Faust and Pat (Jim) Kingsbury and several nieces and nephews, as well as 1 great nephew and 1 great niece.
She worked for many years at the Mona Lisa Hair Salon in Montgomery, and then worked for Dreyer Medical Clinic in Aurora for several more years until retirement, at which point she joined her mother and her sister and brother-in-law in Florida where they were all wonderful caregivers to there mother.
Sharon enjoyed the friendship of many, many friends in several groups, both in Aurora and Largo, Florida, who have all expressed their love for her and how much they will miss her. Sharon was always looking for a good time and never had a problem finding a friend to join her.
She loved working jigsaw puzzles on either her iPad or on a puzzle board, watching movies and having dinner with friends. She had many visitors while in Florida and planned on having many more in Wisconsin. Instead she is rejoicing with family and many friends in Heaven.
A celebration of life will be held at a future date.
