On April 14th, 2023, with her devoted husband by her side, Sherry Jean McAnly (née Doolan) peacefully met her Lord and Savior who greeted her with the words, “Well done my good and faithful servant.”
A memorial service in Memory of Sherry will take place on Saturday, April 22, at 11 a.m. at Springfield Community Church (412 Pleasant Hill Ave. Lomira, WI 53048) in Lomira with Pastor Ray Labatte officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until our time of service at the church. A light luncheon will be served following the service.
Sherry was born on February 28, 1941 to Glen and Bertha (Pluim) Doolan in Waupun WI. On May 1, 1997 she married Tom McAnly. Sherry enjoyed cooking for her family, sewing pajamas for her grandchildren and gardening with her husband. Sherry took great joy in being involved in her church as a caterer and then later serving alongside her husband on the AV ministry team.
She loved and will be missed by her husband of 25 years Tom McAnly of Waupun, her son Brad Kraemer (Wennie Robichaud) Lakeside, CA, darling daughters Briar Wood (Shelly) (Tyler Dvorak) of Carrollton, TX, Becky (Alberto) Lopez Naperville IL, Mary (Doug) Fulton Scottville AZ, Mechelle (Rick) Landaal Waupun, WI, Jackie (Joel) Plagenz Green Lake, WI. Her many grandchildren and great grandchildren will miss her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a son in law. Sherry’s unwavering faith of God’s love will continue to grow and live on by all those whom she loved and is loved by.

In life, we go on wondering what our purpose is, or we strive to leave a forever imprint. Mrs. Sherry did just that, knowingly or perhaps unknowingly. I did not have the honor to meet Mrs. Sherry, but I have met the best of her, her extensions, her son Bradley Kraemer, and granddaughter Brittney. Thank you, Mrs. Sherry, for the contagious smile you gave Brittney and for the guitar you gifted her, she lights up a room, and her music is soul moving. The best of you will live forever. May God rest your beautiful soul.

So sorry to hear about Sherrys leaving us---we were best friends in High school and had a lot of fun together and did get into some trouble but she was a very dear friend--I always looked forward to seeing her at the reunions---rest in peace dear friend
