Stanley R. Tadych

Stanley Raymond Tadych, 86, born on April 9, 1937 in Beaver Dam, WI passed away peacefully on April 6, 2024.  He was the beloved husband of Carol (Stange) Tadych with whom he shared 60 years of marriage, since their nuptials on November 9, 1963 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Beaver Dam, WI.

Stan was the loving son of Raymond and Mary (Popa) Tadych.  He graduated from Beaver Dam High School in 1955 and was a dedicated member of St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church for many years.

After serving in the US Army in Washington and Alaska, Stan began his career at Maysteel before joining AT & T, where he met his wife and spent the rest of his professional life before retiring.

Stan is survived by his wife Carol and their two sons Michael (Gena) of Seattle, WA and Richard (Colleen) of New Berlin, WI.  He was the proud grandfather to three grandsons: Tyler (Kelsey), Aidan and Keegan.  He also had the support of his brothers-in-law: Clark (Barb) Stange, Robert (Joanne) Stange, Jim (Deb) Stange and sisters-in-law: Lisa Rohr and Lora (Jenn) Stange and many nieces and nephews in life and during his last days.

Stan was preceded in death by his parents and his two sisters Angeline (Alvin) Bruendl and Margaret (Edwin) Fabert.

Stanley will be remembered for his dedication to his family, service to his country, commitment to his work, love of fishing and his beautiful woodwork. He will be deeply missed by those who knew him.

A private service and memorial will be held at a later date.
