Terry G. Spannbauer, age 79, of Lomira, passed away on Monday, September 14, 2026, at home.
A public visitation for Terry will be held on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Brown’s Corners (Horicon) with the Rev. Allen Behnke officiating. Following the visitation, a private family memorial service will be held.
Terry was born the son of George D. Spannbauer and Delores Krug Chmielweski on May 2, 1947. He was united in marriage to Karen Collien on February 6, 2007, after 13 years of dating. Terry had two jobs during his lifetime; working 10 years at Hungerford Zephyr Oil Co. and spending 49 years at A to Z Vending and Food Service Inc., which allowed him to make many friends throughout the area. In his spare time, Terry enjoyed fishing on Lake Winnebago, sturgeon spearing, gambling (especially blackjack) and watching sports.
Terry is survived by his wife Karen; daughters Tera Forster and Amanda Donnelly (Matt Braemer); step-children Craig Persha (Sheryl Wolfgram), Jodi Zitlow, and Chad (Sarah) Persha; eight grandchildren Nicholas, Mason, Brady, Taylor, Brooklyn, Whitney, Ava and Brynn; brother Mark (Joyce) Spannbauer; and sisters-in-law Sheryl Kern and Crystal Hechimovich. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents; siblings Judith Schmitz and John Block; parents-in-law Edward and Lucille Collien; and brothers-in-law David Kern and Dennis Hechimovich.
