Terry L. Murray age 72, passed away peacefully at her home in Columbus with her family by her side on November 3, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Terry was born on July 21, 1953, to William and Marlene (Chase) Marks. She graduated from Columbus High School in 1972. On October 5, 1974, Terry married her high school sweetheart, Brian Murray, at St. Jerome Catholic Church, Columbus, Wisconsin. Terry worked part-time through the years to be able to stay home and raise her children, before retiring from the Colonial Club in Sun Prairie after 15 years. Terry’s greatest joys in life were her two granddaughters, Gretta and Chloe.

Terry is survived by her husband of 51 years, Brian Murray; daughter, Megan (Jeremy) Kelm; son, Joseph Murray; and her grand-fur dog, Cali. She is further survived by two grandchildren, Gretta and Chloe Kelm; her sisters, Julie and Lori Marks; brother, Billy (Amber) Marks; sister-in-law, Brenda Marks; brother in law, Michael (Suzi) Murray; sister in law, Bridget (Gary) Schroeder; as well as many other nieces and nephews.

Terry was preceded in death by her parents, William and Marlene; her brothers, Bobby and Jan (earlier this year); and her in-laws Joseph and Sara Murray.

The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the doctors and nurses who have treated Terry through her cancer journey and to Hillside Hospice in Beaver Dam for their care and compassion in her last weeks of life.

Per Terry’s wishes, there will be no service.

If desired, memorials made be made to Terry’s family or to Hillside Hospice in Beaver Dam.

Brian and family-sincere sympathy on the passing of Terry. She was a very good friend to my mom, Shirley Schepp. We all spent a lot of time together laughing and supporting each other. I will never forget the kindness and support she provided to my mom. Terry was always willing to help in anyway she could. I will always remember her laughter and love for her family and others.
