Ted P. Grob, age 83, of Beaver Dam, died Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at Bay Harbor Assisted Living in Beaver Dam.
Visitation for Ted will be held Monday, February 26th, from 9:30-10:50 a.m. with a Memorial Service to be held at 11:00 a.m. with Celebrant John Leiting officiating at the Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam. After the service, burial will be held at Highland Memory Gardens with a light luncheon to follow at the Bayside Supper Club.
Ted was born on May 29, 1940, in Hartford, Wisconsin. He graduated from Hartford High School in 1958. Ted proudly worked for the Hartford Fire and Rescue Department for 20 years. He enjoyed trapshooting, four-wheeling, and hunting and fishing; he had also served as president of the Hart Lake Snowmobile Club. Ted enjoyed the time he spent and the friends he made in the Rhinelander, WI area where he spent many memorable weekends at The Cabin.
Ted also made many friends upon moving to the Beaver Dam area. He and his friend, Wayne, enjoyed their daily drives around the area until the decline in his health made that no longer possible.
Survivors include James (Kate) Persha and Chad Persha, as well as, many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister; and his adopted parents, Howard and Helen (Persha) Roggenbauer.
Thank you to all of the staff at Bay Harbor Assisted Living, and to Emily and Sarah of Hospice, along with their staff, for the Care that Ted received.
Ted’s final word would be “WISDOM”
