Theresa Marie Carlson, age 61, passed away peacefully at her home in Iron Ridge on January 9, 2023.
A memorial gathering in memory of Theresa will take place on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 from 2-4 p.m. at the Koepsell Funeral Home in Mayville.
Theresa grew up in Brookfield and graduated from Brookfield Central High School and Deaconess School of Nursing. She served in the Peace Corps in Africa, as well as several hospitals and medical facilities in Wisconsin and Oregon.
Theresa had an adventurous spirit and loved traveling, animals and campfires. She had a gentle heart and was humble and selfless in her service to others. Her kind, loving and gentle spirit will be greatly missed by her wife Collette, family and friends.
