Tim was an amazing influence and supporter of my son and played an important role in his life and accomplishments. Tim was the leader of my son’s Naval Sea Cadet corps. He literally moved heaven and earth to help Jackson achieve the status of Chief Petty Officer rank. Jackson’s eligibility in the corp was almost expiring when Tim intervened to expedite his paperwork to insure the promotion prior to graduation . Jackson’s best friend in Sea Cadets was James, Tim’s son. This relationship and loss pulled Jackson and Tim closer. Tim delivered a speech when Jackson “ranked up’ and asked Jackson to achieve all he can and to attend the Naval Academy, taking James’ spirit with him.. Jackson just graduated in May. I wish Tim could have talked to Jackson so he would know how positively he influenced his life. I also volunteered for the Sea Cadets and considered Tim a good friend. Tim, you will be missed, but your sense of service and duty will be carried forward by those whose lives you impacted.
Mr. Boerst did more for preps at SJNA than anyone I know. He was also a great mentor to cadets, not to mention new SJNA teachers. I will always treasure the times he would come by my classroom to provide an extra pair of eyes or make a suggestion. Even when he disagreed with you, he always respected you. Que en paz descanse. (RIP)
Hopper my heart has a huge hole where your friendship sustained me; you were always there for me and were my best friend. I will treasure the time I was able to be at your side in the hospital and all of our private jokes..... I will improve my charades game before we meet again. LOVE you Hopper. I will help Jessica in any way I can.... Ride free and watch over those of us with broken hearts.
Alice, I am so so sorry to hear about Tim! You have my deepest sympathies! Hugs!
My condolences to your family! Tim and I grew up together in Mayville. I lived on Krieser Drive and he lived in the circle! So many fun memories of our childhood in the neighborhood. TIm grew up to be a kind, compassionate person who always looked out for others and served his community! He will be missed!
