Tony Pocius, 50, of Fox Lake and Markesan passed away on October 3, 2025 with his parents and sister by his side.
Tony was born on August 15, 1975 the son of Douglas and Connie (Riese) Pocius in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin. Tony attended Horicon High School, He worked for a short time at Maysteel in Mayville and had various other jobs until he became disabled.
Tony loved to go fishing, he could tell you where the fish were biting, what lures to use, he also made fishing lures and ice jigs. He enjoyed deer season as he was raised by a family of hunters.
Tony was a very kind person; he would help anyone in need.
Tony will be deeply missed by his parents, Douglas and Connie of Fox Lake, his sister Valarie Pocius of Waupun; his nephew Alex Kurtz of Sun Prairie, niece Brittany Marotz of Green Bay. He is further survived by Tammy Pocius and Abby Lane of Waupun; other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his brother Steven Pocius, uncle Charles Lopas, maternal and paternal grandparents and his dearly beloved dogs, Ruby, Lacy and Max.
Tony was deeply loved and forever be missed by his family and friends.
A Celebration of Life for Tony will be held at a later date.
