Dear Kathy and family-
How heavy my heart is at hearing the loss of such a gentle man. I remember meeting Terry years ago as a frequent patron of Ginny May Donuts. He was such a kind elfin character which I so appreciated as being a bit elfish myself....and a bit eccentric which was a captivating charm of his. I also remember his devotion to a little known radio host (back in the day) and how he recorded and fondly mused at Garrison's humor.
My prayers are with all of you as you deal with his to soon passing. I know that he will be with you always in those quiet times of reflection and in the smiles of his children.......and always in your hearts. God bless!

I met Terry soon after he met Kathy and have known a deep kinship with the Humistons since. I am at a loss for words to convey the depth of my sadness. I offer a passage from Naomi Shihab Nye: ...Before you know kindness as the deepest thing inside, you must know sorrow as the other deepest thing...then it is only kindness that makes sense anymore... Terry is/was kindness incarnate; my introspective, fun-loving, peace-keeping, buddha brother. Oh - how he shall be missed. What a legacy he leaves.

We met Terry a very long time ago, when we lived in Mankato, Minn. We have many fond memoriies of Terry, both before and after he met Kathy. We remember him for his sprituality, serenity and love of nature. May he rest in peace. We hope to meet again someday.

I worked with Terry at MATC and had the highest regards for him. He was a very friendly and caring person and touched the lives of many students. I'm sad that I'll no longer have the opportunity to hear his opinions and see his smile. My condolances to his family.

Tom and Sally our thought''s and prayers are with you here in Kansas. Aunt Ginny is one of our many favorite aunts. All i can say is Ginny must of been a tuff old bird if she could raise half her brothers and then raise her own Family. I can see her not taking any crap off of her brothers and then just giving them all hell right back. she has allot of company to greet her in heaven. I bet all of her brothers will greet her with open arms. In the Selchert tradition i raise my glass to Ginny and toast HER LIFE AND GOD BLESS AND KEEP HER. Even thou we live along ways from Wisconsin she will be truly missed here in kansas.

Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Tom & Sally, Please know you are in my prayers during this time. To loose your Mom is one of the hardest things in life to go through. Aunt Ginny has always had a special place in my heart. I will never forget coming to visit her on our summer vacations and how much fun we had at her house. I am sorry we can not come for the funeral or bring Dad, as jobs and distance are keeping us from coming. Dad has always loved her as a mother figure He always told us that she raised him after their parents passed away. He has always been grateful to her for that. Dad loved talking to her on the phone when ever they called each other. She brought him alot of joy, even though they were far apart and did not see each other very often. She made a big impact on his life and for that I am very thankful for her. Love your Cousin in Arkansas Brenda (Selchert) Parker
