Wallace “Wally” E. Kurth Jr.

Wallace “Wally” Earl Kurth Jr. passed away on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at Samaritan Nursing and Rehab in West Bend.

A Celebration of Wally’s life will be held on Sunday, September 28, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the Iron Ridge Community Center Located at 205 Park St, Iron Ridge, Wisconsin.

Wally was born the son of Wallace Sr. and Lucille (Heider) Kurth on November 5, 1948, in West Bend, Wisconsin. Wally attended and graduated from West Bend High School.

Wally was united in marriage to Mary (Svehlek) Brandt on September 20, 2003, in Watertown. They shared many wonderful times while going for motorcycle rides together.

In his earlier years, Wally enjoyed hunting. He was a huge NASCAR fan and didn’t miss watching a race on TV. Wally was a proud grandpa who supported and encouraged his grandchildren while attending their various sporting activities.

Wally is survived by his loving wife Mary; his son Mark Kurth; mother of his grandchildren Tanya Kurth; grandchildren: Hannah Kurth, Asher Kurth, and Malachi Kurth; stepchildren: Michelle Brandt and Mike (Tonya Bartoletti) Brandt; and sister Linda Kurth. Wally is further survived by other dear relatives.

Wally was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife Janet Kurth.
