Walter J. Becker

Walter J. Becker, age 65, of Iron Ridge, passed away on Sunday, February 26, 2023, at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee, WI.

Funeral services for Walter will be held on Monday, March 6, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church in Horicon, WI with Rev. Daniel Seehafer officiating. Visitation for Walter will be held at church on Monday, March 6, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. Following the service, interment will take place at Oak Hill Cemetery in Horicon.

Walter was born the son of Walter and Virginia (Gloor) Becker on February 25, 1958, in Hartford, WI. Walter attended Slinger High School. He was united in marriage to Kerri Gland on July 2, 1994, in Hartford, WI. Walter was a faithful member of St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church in Horicon.

Walter had a passion for restoring classic cars, trucks, and tractors. He owned Iron Ridge Classic Chevy which supplied classic car parts to car enthusiasts around the county. Walter and Kerri looked forward to attending the Back to the 50’s Car Show in St. Paul, Minnesota every year.

Walter will be deeply missed by his wife, Kerri; his son, Nic (Christina) Eggert; brothers, John (Barb) Becker, Dave (Barb) Becker; and sister, Rose (Pat) Bartley. Walter is further survived by other relatives and friends.

Walter is preceded in death by his parents and his two sisters, Katie and Sue.
