Wesley O. Pfaff

Wesley Oscar Pfaff, 82, of Horicon, passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at Prairie Ridge Assisted Living in Mayville.

A funeral service for Wesley will be held on Wednesday, September 23, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. at St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Browns Corner with Rev. Allen Behnke officiating. A visitation for Wesley will be held at church on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 12:00 a.m. Following the service, burial will take place at St. John’s Cemetery in Browns Corner.

Wesley was born on October 20, 1943, to Theophil and Caroline (Wolf) Pfaff. He was a graduate of Lomira High School.

Wesley was a faithful member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Browns Corner, where his faith was an important part of his life.

For over 50 years, Wesley was a dedicated employee at Mayville Limestone.

Wesley was a man with a curious mind and a remarkable ability to understand how things worked. He was very intelligent and could often figure out how to repair things that others might have given up on. He especially enjoyed restoring and fixing old televisions and radios. He also had a strong interest in electrical work and took great satisfaction in using his knowledge and skills to make things work again.

Wesley had a wonderful sense of adventure. He was fortunate to travel to every state in the continental United States, as well as every providence in Canada and parts of Mexico. His travels gave him the opportunity to see new places, experience different communities, and create many lasting memories.

Those who knew Wesley will remember him for his intelligence, his practical skills, his curiosity, and his willingness to take on a challenge. He had a special way of looking at the world, always interested in learning, figuring things out, and seeing how things worked.

Wesley is survived by his brother-in-law Duanne “Butch” Brandenburg; his grandniece Audra Lynn Brandenburg; his great grandnephew Waylon Aldaco Brandenburg; his special friends, the Keller family; as well as other dear relatives and friends.

Wesley was preceded in death by his parents; his sister Rachael Brandenburg; his nephew Waylon Brandenburg; and his great grandnephew Emmanuel Aldaco Brandenburg.
