William F. “Bill” Ehrke, age 69, died on Friday, June 2, 2023 at Berger House in Fond du Lac.
The visitation will be at St. Columbkille Catholic Church in the Town of Elba, Dodge County, on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will follow at the church on Wednesday with Fr. Will Arnold officiating. Burial will be at St. Columbkille Cemetery.
William F. Ehrke was born on November 2, 1953 to Elmer and Marcella (Sadowski) Ehrke. He was an avid Packer fan and watching them play gave him great joy. Bill touched the lives of many people and was such a special person that taught us all what love truly was. For the past 17 years, Bill was at home in Berger House of Fond du Lac and we are so thankful for the love and care that was given to him. We are also thankful for the SSM Health at Home – Hospice team for making these final days as peaceful as possible for Bill.
Bill is survived by his siblings, James (Annette) Ehrke of Columbus, Thomas (Lori) Ehrke of Columbus, and Joanne (James) Mengel of Fond du Lac; many nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, John; and a niece, Samantha Ehrke Hensler.

I have many fond memories of Mr Bill. My late brother, Danny Hamm lived with Mr Bill for many years at Berger House. I would go with them and Cindy to play bingo many times. I am sorry for you loss.
