Dear Vikki, Tom, & Family, I am saddened to see Bill''s passing in addition to your Mom, Mary Lane. I didn''t get around to sending my condolences when learning of Mary Lane''s passing, so am writing to tell you that you have our deepest sympathy. The pictures of both your Mom & Dad were great, just as I remember them both. I always looked forward to doing light house cleaning for your Mom, the house was already spotless! They just put up with all us kids. They both had unending energy & we loved making their place our second home! Your parents both had such beautiful style, they always looked great together. I remember the Swiss Colony days when your Mom was hostess. She was a big help to getting Karen in that business & later becoming a Cheese Days Queen. My sisters & I all thought we were entering a wonderful world when we visited across the street. They always gave us their undivided attention & made us feel welcome anytime. It is coming up on 3 years since Dad''s been gone. He passed away on Linda''s 50th birthday, June 23. Shortly after that, we placed Mom in Encore (now Harbor House) in Monroe for her Alzheimer''s condition. So that is now coming up on 3 years also. It would be a blessing if Mom could just "sleep her way to Heaven". She still eats very well, but does sleep the rest of the day. It''s getting difficult to wake her up to talk to her at all. But I keep talking to her anyway. You take care, Vikki, & look back on all your precious memories over the years. Our sympathy to you...Larry & Cathy (Dischler) Wehinger

Dear Vicki, Tom & Family, I periodically check the Monroe Evening Times website and was shocked to see Bill''s obituary in the paper so shortly after Mary Lane''s. My condolences to you and your family after losing both parents so quickly. I loved Bill''s quick wit and humor. Always there with a joke and a brandy old fashioned sweet for me. Such wonderful neighbors to grow up next to, they were both always there for me. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. God''s blessings, Sally Damsgard (Dischler)

Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
